Something We Are Believing

Luke 2:1–21

Jesus really took on flesh and was born as a baby. He really was born to a virgin. He really was laid in a manger. People really worshiped him at his birth.

It all really happened!!!

Something about Living

One of the most natural ways to help children understand the gospel is by revealing your own need for Jesus.

As Paul Tripp identifies in his book Parenting, your children’s problems are really your problems too.

Model repentance and faith in Jesus to your children. Trust me, they already know you are not perfect!

Advice on Caregiving

Holidays can be an extremely challenging time for caregivers or families with special needs. We can unknowingly create unrealistic expectations.

We have learned to embrace what God has given us, recognize that our children’s experiences are largely based on our attitudes, look for small ways to make things special, and let go of fitting holidays into a box.

A Book

We are always looking for fresh ways to help our children savor Jesus around Christmas. Over the past week we have listened to Jotham's Journey.

It has been a fantastic resources to understand Christ's coming from a biblical perspective within story form.

An Idea

Time is one of our most important assets this side of eternity. How is living for the glory of Jesus reflected in your time?

A Quote

When asked for advice for young men entering the ministry J. I. Packer once responded, "Dig deep and dwell deep. I think superficiality is a great weakness of the evangelical world today…. And expect opposition from great sections of the church and from the secular world."
