Salvation in Jesus isn’t simply a hopeful outcome. It is a divine and absolute certainty. Jesus WILL save his people.

A Way We Are Living

One of the ways we try and include Scripture in our homeschooling is by having our children write out the weekly fighter verse at the beginning of every morning. 

They don’t end up memorizing every verse every week, but the practice is exposing them to God’s truths and helping plant seeds in their hearts. 

A Book We Are Reading

Every year our family picks an advent book with daily readings. Sometimes they are kids books and other times adult books. This year we are reading The Christmas We Didn’t Expect. 

David Mathis does an excellent job of turning the eyes of his readers upon the beauty of Christ and the events surrounding his coming. 

An Idea We Are Pondering

Attempting things you don’t yet know how to do is how you learn to do them. Don’t let fear paralyze you.

An Item We are Recommending

As we get closer to a new year, one of the things we have used this year is the fourth set of Fighter Verses.

Fighter Verses exist to help people memorize Scripture in order to fight the good fight of faith. Our family has used these in different ways throughout this year along with our church. 

I am looking forward to another year of using this great resource.
