A Truth We Are Believing

Hebrews 3:13–14

But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

The Christian’s central task: keep believe.

A Way We Are Living

Parenting a child with complex medical and special needs along with three other children, who all have different needs and desires, can make it feel like we aren’t doing enough…especially when we are homeschooling everyone.

We were reminded the other day that what our kids really want is simple and undivided time with us. Sometimes we make it so complicated. We attempt special out of the box experiences or plan big adventures, which do have their place at times.

Yet most often our kids want to enjoy simple things alongside of us like going for a walk, playing a board game, baking something, or playing make believe along with them.

Keep it simple. Be joyful and give your kids your undivided attention. Memories that often last and time that makes the biggest impact for your kids is focused time within everyday life.

A Book We Are Reading

We are fans of children’s picture books. I love finding unknown gems that our kids come back to again and again.

One of theses books is The Squire and the Scroll

Don’t underestimate the power of learning God’s truths through beautiful books.

An Idea We Are Pondering

What is one small way today that you can love the Lord more with your heart, soul, mind, or strength?

An Item We are Recommending

We have used numerous therapy tools over the years to help Levi with oral sensitivity, feeding therapy, and eating mechanics.

One of our favorite tools remains the Sensi from TalkTools. The Sensi comes with numerous jaw tips and has been helpful during Speech and OT as well as throughout our day.
