A Truth We Are Believing

1 Corinthians 15:34

Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

There is a way to live that is asleep to reality.

A Way We Are Living

In the Mulvihill home we prioritize rhythms in our daily life. Rhythms benefit not only our oldest son who has autism but our entire family, even us as parents.

We prioritize rhythms because they provide ease and predictability. Predictability in turn provides security.

Our rhythms also simplify our days by reducing our daily choices, defining our priorities, and keeping the main things central.

Our rhythms are always adapting and growing because our family is always changing and growing. We have come to view rhythms not as a rigid framework for life but rather a predictable routine that actually provides us with more freedom and joy.

A Book We Are Reading

I am continuing to read R. C. Sproul’s Holiness

Sproul was a master story teller and shines a brilliant spotlight on the holiness of God. Sometimes Sproul writes generally, like on what holiness is, and other times he dives in more specifically, like on the holiness of Jesus.

An Idea We Are Pondering

Our environment can either help or hinder our movement towards being more like Christ.

How can you set up your environment so that success comes automatically?

An Item We are Recommending

Sometimes the simplest things can take a challenging daily activity and immediately make it less stressful.

One of our mealtime game changers for Levi are EZPZ mats. These ingenious little inventions make plate throwing a non-issue. We used them for years at home and when out and about.

Whether you need a platebowl, or place mat, they’ve got you covered!
