A Truth We Are Believing
Hebrews 2:1
Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.
Fight to listen to Jesus or end up drifting from Jesus
A Way We Are Living
One of the blessings of homeschooling our children is giving direction to what is placed before their eyes. One of our aims is to place beauty before them.
Whether it is the intricate design of a flower, the ascetics of design and architecture, or breathtaking landscapes, we want our children to have an eye and an appetite for beauty.
A Book We Are Reading
Amy and I have listened to many of R. C. Sproul’s sermons. Yet we have never read any of his books until now. Holiness is his most popular work and it has not disappointed.
“When the word holy is applied to God, it does not signify one single attribute. On the contrary, God is called holy in a general sense. The word is used as a synonym for his deity. That is, the word holy calls attention to all that God is. It reminds us that his love is holy love, his justice is holy justice, his mercy is holy mercy, his knowledge is holy knowledge. His spirit is holy spirit.”
An Idea We Are Pondering
Focus on trajectory over perfection
An Item We are Recommending
We have looked long and hard for a carseat that would work for Levi as he grows. We finally found one that provides the perfect amount of support and safety while also not being too bulky.
If your not so small child is in need of a special needs carseat, check out the Hercules Prime US.
